CLUB HAVANA BAND
Club Havana Band or ‘la BOMBA de Sydney’ as they are affectionally called by their ever increasing fan base is considered to be the one of Australia’s premiere ensembles, playing Timba, Salsa, Son, Songo, Cumbia, Cha cha cha and Boleros. They are particularly known for their fiery original repertoire. They are considered to be Australia’s Premiere Salsa outfit (recipients of the Darling Harbour’s Alex Vidal Award for exelence)
The group has performed extensively throughout Australia & overseas, including: New Zealand Jambalaya Int. Fest. 06’. New Caledonia 04’. Darling Harbour Fiesta & Bacardi Festival, Viva La Gong Fest, Bellingen Jazz Fest. Various tours including – Tour of Qld. 01’ (Newcastle, Coffs Harbour, Brisbane), Tour of South NSW 02’ (Wagga Wagga, Canberra, Griffith), Tour of Perth and Adelaide 05’. Locally the group performs regularly at Sydney’s The Basement (Australia’s premiere Jazz venue) and the top Nightclubs

OZ LATIN BROTHERS BAND
O.L.B. (Oz Latin Brothers) Music Production Band, has been performing for over 12 years entertaining audiences all the way from Sydney to Brisbane. Based on the Scenic Rim of Gold Coast, O.L.B. has been entertaining audiences at various venues on the Gold Coast with their infectious blends of Latin music along with Pop, Funk and Disco. Because of the wide variety on offer, O.L.B. has entertained not only Latin dancing audiences but all types of music lovers.
One of O.L.B.’s greatest honours has been performing at the closing ceremony events of the Sydney 2000 Olympics, as well as celebrations for Channel 9 Australia.
O.L.B. are made up of 4 brothers: Manfred Ugarte (lead vocals, pianist) James Ugarte (bass guitar, backing vocals), Shannon Ugarte (saxophone, backing vocals) and Paul Ugarte (trumpet, backing vocals) and other support musicians which are also part of the main act. All are accomplished musicians who together help create the new O.L.B. Music Production Band sound!

 | DJ ManniFrench DJ, Emmanuel “DJ Mani” has been sending waves through the Australian Salsa scene since 1999, residing over the decks at hugely renowned events like the Bacardi Festival, the Australian Salsa Championship Finals, Sydney Latin Fiesta and the popular Noche de Fuego Nights at Manning Bar.Mani has been a regular DJ at many Sydney salsa clubs, including Art House, BJ’s, Salsalicious, Azucar, Club Salsa, Bar Broadway and Daintree’s Jungle Fever as well as being one of the main men behind Casa De La Salsa.With his background in Hip-Hop, Mani found his place with Cuban Timba but soon expanded into all other styles of Latin music. He has an awesome collection of French Carribean Zouk along with all his Hot Latin tunes and is currently resident DJ at One Night in Cuba events and the new Club Zouk!. |
 | DJ CubanitoAhmed Berástegui (DJ Cubanito) is one of the first ambassadors for Latin Music in Queensland and the original DJ from Cuba now residing in Brisbane.Since moving to Australia and living all over the East Side, DJ Cubanito has been representing Cuban and Latin Music in events such as The Afro Cuban All Stars and Los Van Van with the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC). Representation has also been made through music with DJ Cubanito playing at places like Club The Church, Alhambra Lounge and Cloudland Bar to name a few.Currently playing at various locations throughout Brisbane and the Gold Coast, DJ Cubanito is also known for his diverse range of music and hence guaranteeing the most versatile Latin, Caribbean and World music for any event.
